I personally spend 45 minutes on each set making sure they are ready to carve.
They will be sharp, properly ground for
carving basswood, and tempered to hold
their edge.
If they should ever require sharpening,
I will sharpen them free of charge;
you pay only the actual postage.
A Murphy bench knife is included in this set.
I spend 5-10 minutes on each knife; it will be sharp, comfortable, and configured to carve.
The blade will be protected by surgical tubing.
Woodcarving tools maintain their edges best
if they are protected when not being used.
This set comes with six edge protectors.
The carving glove is made of kevlar,
with rubber dots for improved grip.
While no glove will prevent all cuts, this glove has been shown to greatly reduce the number and severity of the cuts.
A thumbguard will help reduce the tiny cuts resulting from carving with a knife.
A leather strop and strop compound; along with instructions on proper use are included.
